In June, we proudly celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Recycle Namibia Forum (RNF), an organisation that has been championing sustainable waste management and recycling initiatives across Namibia since its establishment on 7 June 2011 and formal constitution in October 2013.
As one of the founding members, Rent-A-Drum was honoured to be part of this important celebration and to continue contributing towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.
To mark the occasion, RNF Coordinator Anita Witt visited the head office of Rent-A-Drum, where anniversary cupcakes were shared with the team in celebration of this remarkable achievement.
We were proud to celebrate alongside Gys Louw (Chairman of the Board), Rosa Louw, Riaan Vermeulen (Managing Director), and Hilka Hamukuaja (Public Relations Manager).
This milestone is a testament to the dedication, collaboration and support of RNF's members, partners and leadership throughout the years.

We're thrilled to introduce Danika Deetlefs, who joins us as our new HR Manager!
Danika brings over 15 years of experience from the hospitality and retail world, including 12 years at Wecke & Voigts, where she grew alongside the business, from operations all the way to helping build their Organizational Development function from the ground up.
So what drew her to Rent-A-Drum? For Danika, waste management is an industry of the future, and she's excited to embrace new challenges and begin a brand-new chapter with us.
Her HR philosophy in one sentence: "Great HR empowers people to reach their full potential while enabling the organisation to achieve its strategic goals."
Danika describes her leadership style as "strict but fair" built on honesty, accountability, and trusting her team to deliver without micromanagement. Outside the office, she recharges on the family farm, where she's happiest behind the braai.
